FAQ

Our Pots

What are your pots made of?

Our pots are made from marine-grade fibreglass - a combination of glass fibres, resin, and stone powder, making them lightweight, durable, and designed to handle tough Aussie conditions with a modern, stylish finish.

Are they suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

Absolutely! Our pots are UV stable, frost resistant, and look stunning indoors or out.

Do the pots come with drainage holes?

They’re watertight as standard. If you’d like drainage holes, just ask — we’ll happily drill them for you

How do I know if I need drainage holes?

Indoors or undercover: No drainage holes are ideal. leave your plant in its nursery pot, and place in feature pot. The feature pot acts as a saucer preventing leaks.

Outdoors, or when planting directly into the pot: We strongly recommend drainage holes to avoid root rot and water build-up.

Using a Pot Top?
either inside or outside this is a much cleaner option than planting directly — ideal for keeping decks, tiles, or patios free from dirty water run-off. Drainage holes are optional with the Pot Top as you can just empty excess water maually when required. however; we recommend drainage holes for our larger pots, as they can become quite heavy and awkward to empty manually.

Do I need pot feet?

If your pot has drainage holes, then yes, you will need pot feet or pot raisers so water can drain freely.

We can assist with supplying pot risers, just ask us.

How do I clean the pots

Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with a hose. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution.

Our Pot Tops

What is the Pot Top and how does it work?

The Pot Top is our smart solution to messy potting. It allows you to keep your plant in its original nursery grow pot, but still achieve a clean, fully planted look. Designed to sit subtly on top of your feature pot, it elevates your plant to the perfect height to simply dress with our lightweight Polypebbles or other top dressing material for that perfect planted look - without the mess!

Can I use The Pot Top on pots I've bought elsewhere?

Yes, you can — just be sure to check the measurements carefully.

*Your pots rim must be no more than 20mm, so the Pot Top can fit comfortably.

Tip: We recommend taking your Pot Top with you when shopping for your pot, so you can test that its the perfect fit.

Can I use the Pot Top without Polypebbles?

Absolutely. You can use mulch, real pebbles — or nothing at all. Just keep in mind: lighter materials make lifting easier when performing plant-care and maintenance!

What if my grow pot doesn’t fit the Pot Top opening?

Easy fix — repot into a standard-sized nursery pot (details listed on each Pot Top page). These are readily available from places like Bunnings.

Can I use the Pot Top with faux plants?

Definitely. It lifts and stabilises faux plants perfectly — once topped with PolyPebbles or similar, no one will know the difference.

What are Pot Tops made from?

The same Marine Grade Fibreglass as our pots — lightweight, strong, and built for Australian conditions.
